Hosea 14:4
ββI will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from him.β
What does Hosea 14:4 mean?
God is making a tender promise here to people who have wandered away from him. He's saying he won't hold their past mistakes against them, but instead will actively work to restore them, much like a doctor healing a wound. The "freely" part is crucial, because it means this love and restoration aren't earned or conditional, they're given as a gift even though the people don't deserve it. His anger has lifted, the conflict is over, and he's inviting them home not with resentment but with genuine desire to be close to them again.
