Hosea 12:5
“even Yahweh, the God of Armies; Yahweh is his name of renown!”
What does Hosea 12:5 mean?
This verse comes at the end of Hosea's reflection on Jacob, the ancestor who wrestled with God and was transformed. The prophet is reminding people that the same God who changed Jacob's life is still present and powerful, known by the mighty name Yahweh.
