Hebrews 9:25

What does Hebrews 9:25 mean?
Jesus didn't need to offer himself repeatedly the way the Jewish high priest had to enter the holy place every single year with animal sacrifices. That yearly ritual was necessary because those animal sacrifices couldn't permanently fix the problem of human sin, so the work had to be done over and over. Jesus' sacrifice of himself was completely different, totally complete, and happened just once, which is why the writer contrasts it so sharply with that endless cycle of repetition. The point is that Jesus accomplished what all those repeated offerings could never do.
