What does Hebrews 6:11 mean?

The writer of Hebrews is encouraging believers not to coast through their faith, but to bring the same earnest energy to hope that they'd bring to anything else that matters. "Fullness of hope" means holding onto confident expectation in God's promises all the way through life, not just in the easy moments. This is a gentle push toward consistency, suggesting that hope isn't something that naturally sustains itself without our active participation. When life gets hard or confusing, keeping that hopeful confidence alive takes the same kind of deliberate effort we give to our work, our relationships, or anything we care about.
