“You will roll them up like a mantle, and they will be changed; but you are the same. Your years will not fail.””
What does Hebrews 1:12 mean?
God is describing how creation itself will eventually wear out and be transformed, much like rolling up an old cloak. The heavens and earth won't last forever, but God will. This passage is meant to anchor our hearts in something permanent when everything else feels temporary and fragile. Whatever changes happen around us, God's character and presence remain constant, which becomes especially comforting when we're navigating loss or uncertainty.
