What does Habakkuk 2:14 mean?

Habakkuk was struggling with doubt when he wrote this, wrestling with why God seemed silent while injustice flourished around him. In this verse, God gives him a sweeping promise: someday, awareness of God's character and greatness will be as widespread and complete as water covering the ocean. It's a vision of the future where God's presence and truth won't be hidden or rare, but visible and known everywhere. For those of us feeling like faith is fragile or isolated, it's a reminder that God's purpose is moving toward a day of clarity and fullness that will eventually reach all creation.
