What does Genesis 46:27 mean?
When Jacob's family finally arrived in Egypt during the famine, the writer takes a moment to count them. Joseph already had two sons born there (Manasseh and Ephraim), and when you add everyone who traveled with Jacob, the total came to seventy people.
