What does Genesis 41:51 mean?
When Joseph named his firstborn son Manasseh, he chose a name that literally means "causing to forget." After years of slavery, false accusation, and imprisonment in Egypt, Joseph was finally experiencing relief and joy as a trusted official with a loving wife and child.
