What does Genesis 39:23 mean?
Joseph had been sold into slavery, falsely accused, and thrown into an Egyptian prison, yet somehow his character and faithfulness shine through even in that dark place. The prison warden notices that everything runs smoothly when Joseph is around, and rather than micromanaging, the keeper simply trusts him with more responsibility.
