What does Genesis 31:7 mean?
Jacob speaks these words to his wives as he explains why they're leaving Laban's household for good. For twenty years, Jacob worked for his father-in-law under a contract that kept shifting, with Laban repeatedly changing the terms to benefit himself and squeeze out Jacob's earnings.
