What does Genesis 24:44 mean?
Abraham's servant has traveled to find a wife for Isaac, and he's set up a test: whichever young woman offers not just him a drink but also voluntarily waters his camels will be the one God has chosen. This wasn't a casual request—drawing water for ten thirsty camels was exhausting, thankless work that showed genuine kindness and a willingness to serve beyond what was asked.
