“Out of the ground Yahweh God made every tree to grow that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food, including the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”
What does Genesis 2:9 mean?
God's creation of the garden shows generosity and care for human flourishing. The trees were designed to nourish both body and soul, providing sustenance and beauty, which suggests that God wants us to enjoy the good gifts of creation.
