What does Genesis 19:18 mean?
Lot is desperately pleading with the two angels who've just told him to escape the city of Sodom because God is about to destroy it. He's terrified—not just of the coming judgment, but of the journey ahead. He's asking if there's any other way, any softer option than fleeing to the mountains as they've instructed.
