Genesis 17:16
“I will bless her, and moreover I will give you a son by her. Yes, I will bless her, and she will be a mother of nations. Kings of peoples will come from her.””
What does Genesis 17:16 mean?
God is making an extraordinary promise to Abraham about his wife Sarah, who was considered far too old to have children. He's saying that Sarah herself will be blessed and honored, not just Abraham, and that she will become the mother of a great line of people, with kings arising from her descendants.
