Galatians 3:11
“Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, “The righteous will live by faith.””
What does Galatians 3:11 mean?
Paul is telling us that trying to earn God's approval through rule-keeping will never work, and he backs this up with a quote from the prophet Habakkuk. The deeper truth is that God's acceptance comes through trust in him, not through perfect behavior or checking boxes on a moral list. When you're going through seasons of failure or when your best efforts still feel inadequate, this verse reminds you that God's path to you isn't built on your performance. Instead, it's about genuine, ongoing trust in who Jesus is and what he's done, which is something we can actually do, even on our hardest days.
