What does Galatians 1:16 mean?
Paul is describing his dramatic conversion and calling, when God revealed Jesus to him directly. He's explaining that this encounter was so real and transformative that he didn't need to check in with other people or rely on human approval to understand what God wanted him to do, which was to bring the message of Jesus to non-Jewish people (the Gentiles).
