What does Ezra 2:27 mean?

This verse is part of a list recording how many people returned from exile in Babylon to rebuild Jerusalem and the temple. Michmas (also spelled Michmash) was a small town in Benjamin's territory, and these 122 residents were among thousands who made the long journey home, risking everything to restore their community and their relationship with God. The simple numbers here represent real families reclaiming their lives and their faith after decades of displacement. For anyone rebuilding after loss or hardship, this reminds us that coming back home, even slowly and in small groups, is always possible.
