Ezekiel 8:9
“He said to me, “Go in, and see the wicked abominations that they do here.””
What does Ezekiel 8:9 mean?
God is calling the prophet Ezekiel to witness the spiritual corruption happening right inside the temple, the very place meant to be sacred and holy. Rather than hiding from the truth, the Lord invites Ezekiel to look directly at what's really going on so he can understand the depth of the problem and carry that knowledge to the people. It's an uncomfortable invitation, but an honest one, because sometimes we need to see clearly what's broken before we can address it or turn back toward what's right.
