Ezekiel 7:4
“My eye will not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring your ways on you, and your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.’”
What does Ezekiel 7:4 mean?
God is describing a difficult season of consequences, saying he won't look away or soften the impact of what's coming. The people of Israel have turned from him persistently, and he's saying their own choices and broken ways will catch up with them. This isn't punishment handed down arbitrarily, but rather the natural result of their own actions coming back to meet them. The hard truth here is that sometimes we have to experience the weight of our choices before we truly understand who God is and why his way matters.
