Ezekiel 48:32

What does Ezekiel 48:32 mean?
Ezekiel is describing the future restored Jerusalem, where the city will have twelve gates (one for each tribe of Israel) and precise measurements that reflect God's perfect order and provision. The east side, measuring about 5.5 miles, will have three gates named after Joseph, Benjamin, and Dan, symbolizing how all the tribes will have access and belonging in this renewed place. This vision offered hope to exiles who had lost everything, reminding them that God hadn't forgotten them or their inheritance.
