Ezekiel 46:13
““‘“You shall prepare a lamb a year old without defect for a burnt offering to Yahweh daily. Morning by morning you shall prepare it.”
What does Ezekiel 46:13 mean?
Every morning, without fail, a perfect lamb was to be offered to God. This daily ritual reminded the people that their relationship with God needed constant renewal and attention, not just occasional check-ins. The emphasis on doing this "morning by morning" suggests that faithfulness isn't something we accomplish once, but something we return to again and again, day after day. For those of us going through difficult seasons, this can be encouraging: we don't have to have it all figured out at once, but we're invited to show up and recommit, each new morning bringing a fresh opportunity to draw close to God.
