Ezekiel 44:13
“They shall not come near to me, to execute the office of priest to me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, to the things that are most holy; but they will bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed.”
What does Ezekiel 44:13 mean?
This passage describes Levites who had abandoned God's standards and turned to idolatry, and now face the consequence of being excluded from serving as priests in God's presence. The restriction isn't arbitrary punishment, but a natural result of their unfaithfulness, like someone who breaks trust with an employer and loses access to sensitive areas of their workplace.
