What does Ezekiel 43:23 mean?

After the temple has been purified and set apart for God's use, the people are called to bring their best animals as offerings, a young bull and a ram with no blemishes or flaws. This wasn't just about sacrifice for sacrifice's sake, but about giving God something costly and valuable, which reflected both respect for His holiness and the seriousness of dedicating the space to Him. The requirement for perfection pointed to the idea that when we approach God and want to restore what's broken, it matters that we bring our genuine best, not what's leftover or damaged. For us today, that same principle holds: honoring God with our time, attention, and hearts means offering what we truly value, not just the scraps of our effort.
