Ezekiel 37:3

What does Ezekiel 37:3 mean?
Ezekiel finds himself in a valley filled with dry bones, a vision so bleak that it mirrors spiritual deadness and despair. God asks him directly whether these bones can come back to life, and notice that Ezekiel doesn't offer false confidence or pretend to have answers he doesn't possess. Instead, he responds with honest humility: "You know." He's acknowledging that restoration and renewal aren't in his hands, that God alone understands what's possible. There's something deeply honest in this exchange that speaks to anyone facing situations that seem hopeless or beyond fixing. Ezekiel admits his limitations while implicitly expressing trust that God sees what he cannot. His answer isn't defeat but realism paired with faith, and it opens the door for God to show him something miraculous. Sometimes our role isn't to have the answer, but to recognize that God does.
