Ezekiel 36:37
““‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “For this, moreover, will I be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.”
What does Ezekiel 36:37 mean?
God is making a promise here about how He works with His people. He's saying that before He brings blessing and restoration, He wants His people to ask Him for it, to seek Him and pray. This isn't because God needs convincing or is reluctant to help, but because He desires a relationship where we bring our needs to Him. The promise that follows, about increasing them "like a flock," speaks to God's generous abundance. Just as a shepherd tends sheep and sees them multiply and flourish, God intends to bless His people with growth and fullness.
