What does Ezekiel 32:6 mean?
This vivid, terrible image comes from God's judgment on Egypt's pride. Ezekiel is describing the complete destruction of Pharaoh—his blood will be so abundant it will fill the valleys and waterways, soaking the entire land, even reaching the mountains. It's an extreme way of saying that the consequences of arrogance and opposition to God are total and inescapable. For anyone in a hard season, this passage reminds us that God takes seriously the harm done by those who abuse their power.
