What does Ezekiel 32:4 mean?
This is one of Ezekiel's most striking prophecies of judgment against Egypt, using the vivid image of a great sea monster (the pharaoh) being dragged onto dry land and left to decay. The language is deliberately harsh and graphic: birds and wild animals feasting on the body represents complete humiliation and the absence of proper burial, which was deeply shameful in ancient Near Eastern culture.
