Ezekiel 22:18
““Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me. All of them are brass, tin, iron, and lead in the middle of the furnace. They are the dross of silver.”
What does Ezekiel 22:18 mean?
God is telling Ezekiel that Israel has become spiritually worthless, like the waste material left over when precious metal is refined. When metal is heated in a furnace, impurities separate and float to the top as "dross"—the unusable refuse that gets scraped away.
