Ezekiel 22:12
“In you have they taken bribes to shed blood. You have taken interest and increase, and you have greedily gained of your neighbors by oppression, and have forgotten me,” says the Lord Yahweh.”
What does Ezekiel 22:12 mean?
God is describing a society that has become so focused on profit and power that it has lost all moral compass. The people have accepted bribes to commit violence, charged exploitative interest rates, and squeezed their neighbors through unjust business practices, all while living as if God doesn't exist or doesn't see what they're doing.
