What does Ezekiel 20:11 mean?

God is reminding his people that the laws and guidelines he gave them weren't meant to burden them, but to lead them toward genuine life and flourishing. When someone follows God's ways, they discover that those boundaries actually protect and sustain them, much like traffic laws protect drivers even though they seem restrictive. This is a promise rooted in the reality that God's design for living works: his commands align with how we're made to function, so living by them brings us closer to wholeness and peace rather than taking those things away.
