Ezekiel 14:6
““Therefore tell the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Return, and turn yourselves from your idols! Turn away your faces from all your abominations.”
What does Ezekiel 14:6 mean?
God is calling His people back after they've drifted into worshiping false gods and living in ways that contradict what He teaches. The language is direct and even confrontational because sometimes we need to hear clearly when we're heading the wrong direction. This isn't about shame, though, it's an invitation to turn around and come home, with the assumption that they actually can if they choose to.
