Exodus 6:29
“Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, “I am Yahweh. Speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I speak to you.””
What does Exodus 6:29 mean?
God is reminding Moses of his own divine authority and then calling him to be a messenger. Moses had just expressed doubt about whether Pharaoh would listen to him (he'd already tried once and things got worse), so God essentially says: "I am the one speaking here, not you. Your job is simply to deliver my words faithfully." It's a reassuring word that shifts the burden of persuasion from Moses' shoulders to God's. Even when we feel inadequate or like we've already failed, God can use our obedience in ways we can't predict or control.
