Exodus 40:22
“He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside of the veil.”
What does Exodus 40:22 mean?
When the tabernacle was being set up, Moses placed a special table in the tent where God met with his people. This table held the bread of the Presence, a food offering that symbolized God's constant provision and care. By positioning it on the north side, outside the inner curtain (the veil), it was in a semi-public area where the priests could regularly tend to it as part of their worship duties.
