Exodus 39:19
“They made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which was toward the side of the ephod inward.”
What does Exodus 39:19 mean?
The craftsmen building the high priest's breastplate were adding practical details to make it secure and functional. These gold rings, attached to the inner edge of the breastplate, would connect to other rings on the priestly garment (the ephod) so the breastplate wouldn't shift or fall away during temple service. It's a small detail in a larger description, but it shows how carefully the people followed God's instructions for the tabernacle, paying attention even to the connections that wouldn't be immediately visible to observers. Sometimes faithfulness shows up in the details no one else might notice.
