Exodus 37:3
“He cast four rings of gold for it, in its four feet; even two rings on its one side, and two rings on its other side.”
What does Exodus 37:3 mean?
This verse describes the construction of the Ark of the Covenant's carrying poles, part of the detailed instructions for the sacred furniture in God's tabernacle. The rings were cast into the corners and sides of the wooden box so that wooden poles could be inserted through them, allowing the priests to carry it without directly touching it (which was forbidden).
