What does Exodus 34:27 mean?

God is telling Moses to write down the covenant terms they've just discussed, making them permanent and real. This act of writing transforms spoken promises into something tangible that can be remembered, shared, and passed down to future generations. God is essentially saying these aren't casual words that might be forgotten or misremembered, but official commitments between him and the people of Israel. By putting them in writing, both sides have a clear record of what was promised and what's expected.
