What does Exodus 32:10 mean?
God speaks these words to Moses after the people have built and worshipped a golden calf, breaking their covenant just weeks after witnessing His power at Mount Sinai. In His anger, God offers to destroy the unfaithful nation and start over with Moses as the founder of a new people. This moment tests whether Moses will accept God's judgment or intercede for the people he leads.
