Exodus 3:19
“I know that the king of Egypt won’t give you permission to go, no, not by a mighty hand.”
What does Exodus 3:19 mean?
God is telling Moses something hard: Pharaoh will never willingly let the Hebrew people leave Egypt, no matter what. This isn't a prediction of failure, though, but rather a realistic setup for what comes next. God is essentially saying, "I know you're facing a stubborn ruler, but that's precisely why I'm about to act with power on your behalf." It's God preparing Moses for the long struggle ahead while assuring him that the obstacle won't be insurmountable because God himself will intervene.
