What does Exodus 26:20 mean?

The tabernacle, Israel's portable temple in the wilderness, needed a sturdy structure to house the most sacred religious items. This verse describes one wall of that rectangular building, made of twenty wooden boards (or panels) that would form the north side. Each board was roughly 15 feet tall and 2.5 feet wide, and they were held together with gold rings and bars to create a solid frame. The specific measurements and symmetry—north and south sides matching—reflected both practical building sense and the Israelites' understanding that God's dwelling place deserved careful, orderly construction.
