What does Exodus 23:33 mean?
God is warning the Israelites about the danger of living alongside people who worship other gods. The concern isn't about the people themselves, but about how easy it would be to gradually adopt their religious practices and values, especially when those gods are constantly visible and culturally normalized around them.
