Exodus 16:9
“Moses said to Aaron, “Tell all the congregation of the children of Israel, ‘Come near before Yahweh, for he has heard your murmurings.’””
What does Exodus 16:9 mean?
When the Israelites complained about hunger in the wilderness, God heard them—and Moses wanted them to know it. Rather than punishing their grumbling, God was about to provide manna from heaven, and Moses called the people together so they could witness His faithfulness firsthand. There's something deeply comforting here: your complaints don't fall on deaf ears with God, and often what feels like your lowest moment is exactly where He meets you with provision. Moses' words remind us that God notices our struggles and invites us to come near and see what He will do.
