Esther 7:2
“The king said again to Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, “What is your petition, queen Esther? It shall be granted you. What is your request? Even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.””
What does Esther 7:2 mean?
King Ahasuerus is repeating an offer he made the night before, giving Esther a chance to speak her deepest need. His extravagant promise ("even to the half of the kingdom") shows how much favor she's gained through her wisdom and careful planning, setting up the moment where she'll finally reveal the truth about Haman's plot against her people. This is a turning point in the story where what's been hidden is about to come into the light. What's striking is that Esther waited for the right moment rather than rushing to ask, and her patience positioned her to be heard and believed when it mattered most.
