What does Esther 4:9 mean?

When Mordecai learns of a plot to destroy all the Jewish people in the Persian kingdom, he sends an urgent message through Hathach, a trusted servant in the royal household, to Queen Esther. This simple sentence carries enormous weight: Esther is the only person in a position of power who might be able to help her people, but she doesn't yet know the danger they face. Hathach becomes the crucial messenger who bridges the gap between Mordecai's desperation and Esther's potential to act. The verse reminds us that sometimes deliverance comes through ordinary people doing their part to pass along important information, and that those small acts of faithfulness can set larger rescues in motion.
