What does Ephesians 3:6 mean?

Paul is announcing something revolutionary to his readers: the good news isn't just for Jewish people anymore, but for everyone. Gentiles (non-Jewish people) are now full members of God's family, with the same inheritance, the same place in the church, and the same access to God's promises as anyone else. This was stunning to people who had grown up believing that following God's way meant first becoming Jewish. The barrier has been completely removed through faith in Jesus, and now all people stand on equal ground before God, united in one body and one hope.
