What does Ecclesiastes 7:12 mean?
Wisdom and money both protect us in practical ways: money helps us meet our needs and handle emergencies, while wisdom helps us make sound choices and navigate life's complications. But there's something irreplaceable about wisdom that money alone can't buy. A person who has true wisdom learns how to live well, how to avoid destructive decisions, and how to find meaning, which ultimately protects their whole life in ways that material security never can. The teacher here isn't saying money is worthless, but rather that developing good judgment and understanding is an investment that pays dividends no amount of wealth ever will.
