What does Ecclesiastes 2:6 mean?
The writer of Ecclesiastes is describing all the grand projects he undertook as a wealthy, powerful man, and here he's talking about building pools and irrigation systems to sustain a vast forest garden. It's a vivid image of someone with unlimited resources creating something beautiful and substantial, trying to fill his life with accomplishment and pleasure.
