Ecclesiastes 1:15

What does Ecclesiastes 1:15 mean?
The Teacher in Ecclesiastes is reflecting on the limits of human effort and wisdom. Some things in this world are so fundamentally broken or incomplete that no amount of work or cleverness can fix them, just like you can't straighten a bent piece of metal back to perfect form or count something that doesn't exist. This isn't meant to crush hope, but rather to gently remind us that we're not responsible for solving every problem or controlling every outcome. Sometimes the most honest response to life's difficulties is to acknowledge what lies beyond our reach, and to find peace in that acceptance rather than exhausting ourselves against the impossible.
