Deuteronomy 4:29
“But from there you shall seek Yahweh your God, and you shall find him, when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
What does Deuteronomy 4:29 mean?
When life has pulled you far from God, this verse promises that seeking Him with genuine desire actually works. The phrase "with all your heart and with all your soul" doesn't mean you need to feel a certain way or be spiritually advanced, but rather that you're truly turning toward Him without holding back. Moses speaks these words to people who've wandered into unfaithfulness, reminding them that no distance is too great for God to close when someone genuinely reaches out. This is meant to be deeply encouraging: the God you're looking for is already looking for you, and honest seeking always finds Him.
