Deuteronomy 31:6
“Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.””
What does Deuteronomy 31:6 mean?
Moses speaks these words to Joshua and the whole nation of Israel as they prepare to enter the promised land without him. He's reminding them that the real leader of this journey isn't a human king or general, but God himself. When Moses says God "will not fail you nor forsake you," he's offering something deeper than just confidence that battles will be won.
