Deuteronomy 30:1
“It shall happen, when all these things have come on you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations, where Yahweh your God has driven you,”
What does Deuteronomy 30:1 mean?
God is speaking to the Israelites about a future moment when they'll experience the full weight of the consequences they've chosen, whether blessing or curse, and in that hard reckoning, they'll finally remember what He had clearly laid out for them. The picture here is of people scattered among other nations, facing the real results of their choices, and something shifts in them as they recall God's original words. It's not a threat meant to crush hope but rather recognition that sometimes we need to hit a wall of consequences before we truly hear what we were told from the beginning.
